Very well said Tyler, you’ve encapsulated the feelings of so many RPCVs upon arriving “home.” I don’t think any of us have quite figured out how to answer that “How was it?” question, even many years later…I usually just say “hot…very hot,” because that was the truth… Good luck with your last year of classes! – Kristi

Tyler, I suspect you are just experiencing relocation depression. It will take a while for you to become readjusted to the life you had before you left for the Peace Corps. Yours is not a strange reaction at all – it is just what happens until your mindset settles down to your upcoming future and I might add, coming of age! Keep your thoughts and spirits high and look forward to the future. I am counting on you to write your book on your adventures, not just what you left behind, but what your goals are now. Love you, Gram

    Hi Tyler!
I’m a Burkinabe who now lives in Omaha NE!
Thanks for all you did for the people of Burkina! It takes courage to leave ones home to go across the world in a country and culture that is foreign to make a difference!
Your view on life will not b Ed the same! You are a world changer and a difference maker! Dieu te bénisse!!!
